Rolling Stones At London Stadium

Not often do I go to stadium shows, but when I do I'm usually left speechless. This was no exception. I've grown up on the Rolling Stones thanks to my old man, and I've often said I wanted to see them live. So when the 'No filter' tour was announced, I was instantly in on pre-order tickets. Supported by the legendary Liam gallagher (love him or hate him, he sure has a quality back catalogue and with a great solo album he can play what he wants imo), I was in for a great night. After Gallager had departed we were left with 4 colossal blocks of yellow LED's towers with the classic Tongue out logo,  we waited for 30 minutes until over the tanoid "Please welcome, the legends that are, THE ROLLING STONES!!" And on they came, Jagger strutting his stuff like he was 20 years old, Keith richards and Ronnie wood strumming away like headlining a stadium was just another day with charlie watts drumming away as casual as you like. Kicking off with Street figh...

2018 so far....part 2

Idles at The Hub Plymouth I saw Idles supporting Foo Fighters last year at the 02 arena. I thought they were bloody good, pure punk attitude, and luckily from my neck of the woods (which is devon). Sold out show, and the place was a complete brawl when the band finally kicked off. I wouldnt say I'm a huge fan of there stuff but I wanted to see a headline show from the lot who supported the Foo's, I wasn't left disappointed. 7/10 Milkteeth at The Junction Plymouth Milkteeth are a great band I'll always use as an example of getting better everytime I've seen them. I saw Milkteeth first time at download in a tent, wasn't overly blown away by them. saw them then support Against me! and again was left disappointed. I was about to give up on them until I saw them support creeper, and then I clicked on them and tbh they seemed to have gained a attitude which grabbed my attention. So queue the 4th time I saw milkteeth (having been supported by the fantastic ...

2018 so far..... Part 1

So like my previous post said, I attend quite a lot of shows over the year, and here are a few bands I've seen, what ratings I'll give them, I wont write a full review as I'm sure other people have already done it and some were months ago. The Menzingers at SWX Bristol Thoroughly enjoyable show from the band who produced my second favourite album from last year. 8/10 Architects at Alexandra Palace Probably the biggest and most important live show to date for the british metal scene. A sold out show which was not only electric but also very emotional, Architects not only looked solid and unfazed by the event, but smashed it out the park. 10/10 While She Sleeps at the o2 academy Bristol Having seen WSS smash Ally Pally a few days before I was uber keen to see them at a headline show, esp after their sensational album "You Are we" which was my third favourite album from last year. Like Ally Pally, they completely blew the o2 away with what wasn'...

A brief introduction

Hi there! My name is Kyle Finnerty, and I am a massive music fan. Over the past 13 years (wow that does feel long haha!) I have attended many many live shows, days out, festivals etc. I've seen the likes of Muse, Foo Fighters, Red hot chili peppers, iron maiden, Dizzee Rascal, Green Day and so on and so forth, So I have been lucky enough to see alot of legendary bands and also new up-coming bands who seem to be getting big (like royal blood, creeper, Ghost). Anyway I am by no means a musical journalist, or a professional blogger, But I thought I'd jot down my reviews of each show I go to, hopefully you'll enjoy my inputs and review for each show thank you and enjoy :D
